IMPORTANT NOTE

MetaSearch 1.8.0 replaces all previous releases.
Existing user profiles and local preferences are preserved during installation.

WHAT'S NEW AND CHANGED

- Added the ability to delete saved profiles.
- Updated ISIDORE searches to use Google with site:isidore.science when ISIDORE's native search is unavailable.
- Updated the bundled source pack from JSON21 to JSON22.
- Updated application and release documentation for version 1.8.0.

TECHNICAL CHANGES

- Updated the bundled source filename to metasearch_sources_V22.json.
- Kept the runtime user source filename as metasearch_sources.json.
- Preserved existing user profiles and local preferences during installation and updates.

NOTES

MetaSearch remains a transparent search-assistance tool. It does not use artificial intelligence to process searches and does not transmit search-query content to the licence server.
